Michael Vaught, CFP®, joined CapWealth in 2022 as a Financial Analyst on the firm’s Investment Team. After several years of gaining deep insight into portfolio management and market strategy, Michael discovered his true passion, helping clients achieve their financial goals as a Financial Advisor. Today, he partners with clients at every stage of life, whether they’re just beginning their investment journey or planning for a confident retirement.

A Franklin native, Michael has witnessed the area’s remarkable growth firsthand. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance, with a minor in Business Information Systems, from Mississippi State University and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation. Outside the office, Michael enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his wife, Elizabeth.
