A Season of Gratitude: What We’re Thankful for at CapWealth
November 18, 2025
As the holiday season arrives, it brings a natural opportunity for reflection and gratitude. Whether in our personal or professional pursuits, this time of year reminds us to appreciate the people, opportunities, and small joys that shape our experiences. At CapWealth, we’re deeply thankful for the trust our clients place in us and the privilege of helping them pursue their financial goals.
To celebrate this season of gratitude, we sat down with several of our Certified Financial Planners to learn what they’re most thankful for this year.
Hillary Stalker shared, “I am thankful for the clients who trust our team to guide them through all of life’s ups and downs. Financial plans are never definite, and to walk alongside clients through their various chapters is a gift.”
Dean Shahan expressed gratitude for the ability to make a tangible difference in his clients’ financial lives, “I am thankful that my job allows me to help clients pay as little in taxes as possible while supporting the organizations and charitable causes they care about.”
For Drew O’Connor, it’s all about strategy and growth. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to provide investment guidance and strategy to help clients achieve their planning goals during market cycles,” he said.
Chris Stevens echoed a similar sentiment, sharing, “There is nothing more satisfying than seeing clients through all of life’s financial opportunities and challenges. Shielding clients from slings and arrows along the way, and helping them achieve their goals, gives me a real sense of achievement.”
Jason Krueger reflected on the meaningful impact of his work, sharing, “I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to positively impact our clients’ lives. Hearing about their success in other areas and how happy they are to pursue what truly matters to them, knowing we’ve got their backs when it comes to financial planning, is incredibly meaningful to me. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about helping people live with confidence and peace of mind.”
Finally, Jennifer Horton Pagliara reflected on the broader implications of the work we do: “I am genuinely grateful to be in a career where I have the incredible opportunity to help clients achieve their goals and bring clarity and confidence to their financial journeys. It is truly a privilege to do meaningful work that has a real impact on their lives.” Her words capture what unites us all at CapWealth, a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
As a team, we’re thankful every day for the relationships we’ve built and the trust our clients continue to place in us. To our clients, seasoned and new, thank you, and we wish you and your families a warm, joyful holiday season and a prosperous year ahead. We look forward to another great year together in 2026!
